Porsche and Pixar have teamed up for a creative collaboration tied to the upcoming release of "Toy Story 5." The partnership produced three one-of-a-kind Porsche 911 builds. Each car is inspired by a key character from the franchise: Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and Woody.
The idea started in 2024 during Monterey Car Week. Pixar executives approached Porsche with a concept that blended animation storytelling with real-world car design. The carmaker already had experience with movie-inspired builds, including the famous Sally Carrera from Cars.
The new project was developed under Porsche's Sonderwunsch customization program, which allows highly detailed bespoke creations.
Buzz Lightyear-Inspired Porsche 911 GT3 RS
The first build is a Porsche 911 GT3 RS inspired by Buzz Lightyear. It carries a bold white, green, and purple color scheme that mirrors Buzz's Space Ranger suit.
The Space Ranger logo appears in multiple areas of the car. It is placed on the hood, wheel caps, and side accents. Porsche also used hand-painted graphics instead of standard decals. This gives the car a more premium and detailed finish.
Even the tires were customized. Goodyear added "Lightyear" branding along with Buzz's iconic line, "To Infinity and Beyond."
Beneath its design, the cabin continues the theme. It features Pebble Grey and Arctic Grey materials. Green stitching and violet leather accents add contrast.
A Space Ranger emblem is stitched into the seats. The dashboard includes a subtle Buzz silhouette.
Jessie-Themed Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS
According to Car and Driver, the second model transforms the Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS into Jessie from Toy Story. The exterior uses a Jessie White Metallic finish with bold red, yellow, and blue accents.
The red Targa roof is designed to reflect Jessie's cowboy hat. Gold wheels and western-inspired details complete the look. Even the "Targa" badge is replaced with Jessie's name in stylized lettering.
Inside, the design leans heavily into Western style. Denim-inspired materials cover parts of the cabin. Red, blue, and grey tones bring contrast. The seats include embroidered sheriff badges. The floor mats use cowhide textures. Even the door sills light up with a playful "YEE HAW!" message.
It is one of the most character-driven designs in the entire collection.
Woody-Inspired Porsche 911 Carrera T
The third car is based on Woody. It uses a Porsche 911 Carrera T as its foundation. The standout feature is its denim-style paint finish. Porsche created it using custom pigments and fabric imprint techniques. The result looks textured and worn, similar to Woody's outfit.
Coffee Black and Aurum accents shape the front design. Red graphics with Woody's name run along the sides. The overall look feels simple but nostalgic.
The cabin retains the "Toy Story 5" theme. It mixes vintage leather with denim inserts and checkered patterns. Cowhide mats and retro-style stickers add extra personality. Every detail is meant to reflect Woody's classic cowboy identity.
Porsche 911 'Toy Story 5' Models Global Release
After their debut, all three Porsche 911 models will be auctioned for charity. The event will take place alongside the "Toy Story 5" premiere in Los Angeles, before the film's global rollout.
The proceeds will support several organizations. These include Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the American Red Cross, and the Starlight Children's Foundation.
