For the heart of Alfa Romeo's performance lineup in America, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio gained supremacy for seven years. Joined by the quick crossover, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio, a year later. However, after a lengthy presence in the North American market, the current lineup of Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio models will soon be unavailable.

Adieu Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglios

Road and Track reported Alfa Rome Quadrifoglios will leave the American shore soon. The news originates from a LinkedIn update by Larry Dominique, Alfa Romeo and Fiat's Senior Vice President.

According to Dominique, this shift signifies the brand's transition towards an electrified future, rather than the termination of Quadrifoglio-branded products in the U.S. market. Notably, he suggests that these last iterations of Giulias and Stelvios exclusively feature combustion engine technology, hinting at the potential return of the lineup with hybrid variants in the foreseeable future

If one is interested in owning an Alfa Romeo with a powerful V-6 engine, the opportunity to place an order will end in April of this year. The last units of these models destined for America will roll out of the factory in June, meaning time is running out quickly.

The company is also expected to build electric vehicles (EVs). The brand ventures into new ground as part of a broader initiative across Stellantis to electrify its entire lineup. While Alfa Romeo has unveiled its flagship production EV, the Milano, it is unlikely to be available in the American market.

As Alfa Romeo ventures into electrification, performance EVs and hybrids appear to be a probable direction. However, the brand has only announced the electric version of the limited-run 33 Stradale supercar as its sole performance EV offering thus far.

One, it lacks a manual transmission option, and its interior does not meet the premium standards set by its competitors. Furthermore, the vehicle's reliability record has been relatively erratic. Despite these limitations, die-hard car aficionados are likely to ignore them. Favoring experiencing the Giulia Quadrifoglio's fascinating blend of beauty and performance.

Car and Driver shared more details about its interior. It said that the interior of the Giulia features leather surfaces complemented by faux-suede accents. The front seats are visually appealing and offer support without feeling constrictive.

While racing-oriented Recaro buckets are an option, they lack the power adjustments and heating elements found in the standard seats. The switchgear's layout and the sweeping dashboard is consistent with the regular Giulia, but the Quadrifoglio model incorporates an abundance of carbon-fiber trim.

Additionally, Car and Driver mentioned its 8.8-inch infotainment screen on the dashboard offers both touch and rotary knob control from the center console. While the interface allows for customization and is user-friendly, drivers might find it challenging to navigate smaller on-screen icons while the vehicle is moving.
