In the evolution of the 2025 Porsche Cayenne GTS, Porsche's strategy differed from the previous year's approach. The 2024 model year prioritized the Turbo and E-Hybrid trims before unveiling the GTS variant. This year's Cayenne GTS embraces a classic performance ethos, opting for a robust V8 engine and enhancements geared towards superior handling.

All-New 2025 Porsche Cayenne GTS

Drawing inspiration from the Cayenne Turbo GT, the 2025 iteration of the Cayenne GTS receives power upgrades and exclusive features tailored to the GTS experience. As reported by DaxStreet, the highly acclaimed 2025 Porsche Cayenne GTS, renowned for its dedication to unparalleled performance and driving pleasure, marks its triumphant return, spearheading the debut of the new Cayenne series.

This version, which sets the pace for the range, promises more power and advanced technologies derived from the highly regarded Cayenne Turbo. Regarding performance improvements, engineers have made significant upgrades to improve the handling of the 2025 Porsche Cayenne GTS.

Taking cues from the Turbo GT Coupe, parts have been added to improve the front wheels' maneuverability, and a special cooling system has been added to reduce overheating in extreme driving situations. The air suspension system has been modified to especially fit the GTS model, offering a customized driving experience.

For even more dynamic control, drivers can choose to install Porsche's cutting-edge active anti-roll suspension system on their cars.

Engine Upgrade

MotorTrend reveals that enhancements to the 2025 Porsche Cayenne GTS's twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 engine deliver a substantial boost of 40 hp and 30 lb-ft of torque, elevating performance figures to an impressive 493 hp and 487 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a standard eight-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission, the Cayenne GTS showcases exceptional acceleration capabilities in its Sport Plus mode, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.2 seconds and boasting a top speed of 171 mph.

Notably, the increased power necessitates a dedicated water-cooling system exclusively for the Porsche Traction Management computer, enhancing the durability of the Cayenne GTS during spirited drives on challenging terrains and race circuits.

Autoweek highlights that power is seamlessly transferred from the eight-speed transmission to the standard all-wheel-drive system, incorporating liquid cooling technology borrowed from the high-performance Cayenne Turbo GT model.

Expanding on the enhanced power output, the 2025 Porsche Cayenne GTS showcases a distinctive interpretation of the updated front design. Distinguished by larger air intakes and shaded headlights, this special model boasts a unique frontal aesthetic.

Complementing the rear design are tinted taillights and the option for an adaptive spoiler and a center-exit exhaust system. For enthusiasts seeking a more performance-oriented setup, the Lightweight Sport Package introduces elements like a lighter roof, a carbon-fiber rear diffuser, and reduced sound insulation for a heightened driving experience.

Supporting these enhancements is a GTS-specific iteration of the Cayenne's air suspension, set 10 mm lower than other variants to enhance agility and responsiveness. The Cayenne GTS further incorporates two-valve adaptive dampers and Porsche's advanced Torque Vectoring Plus system, ensuring precise handling and control on various driving surfaces.
