Chrysler is all set to unleash a futuristic electric vehicle concept in February. This is the cars' debut into the world of all-electric models. A futuristic idea is glimpsed in the teaser image that was posted along with the announcement.

First All Electric EV Concept for Chrysler: Halycon

Buzz about the upcoming design says it could be influenced by the Airflow prototype, which has been a prominent display at car shows since its release in 2022. With plans to expand, Chrysler is getting ready to introduce another concept car, although there aren't many details yet.

Scheduled for February 13, 2024, Chrysler aims to showcase its latest EV concept, signaling a strategic move towards embracing electrification in its lineup. According to a report from auto123.com, the anticipation is high for Chrysler's futuristic EV, with speculation suggesting its design roots stem from the Airflow prototype, a fixture at numerous auto exhibitions since its unveiling in 2022. A recently disclosed teaser image provides a look of the future model; however, it is vague enough to provoke a lot of speculation on the internet.

Stellantis has only made vague allusions to the vehicle's inventiveness while remaining silent on other specifics. But in the following several days, two additional pictures will probably surface, providing more details about the events of next week and possibly even the trajectory of the company's electric projects.

The report also provided a hint to the possible name for Chrysler's futuristic EV - Halcyon. As per the report, regarding the subtle hint embedded within the image released earlier this week, we observe the word "Halcyon," positioned horizontally and presented in an inverted manner.

What's In Store for Consumers

As per Autoweek, with the vehicle's exact nature still under wraps, it's clear that Stellantis possesses three electric vehicle platforms that could expedite the production process for Chrysler's futuristic EV. Additionally, Autoweek guessed such unveiling hints at a potential successor to the Chrysler 300. It's reasonable to anticipate insights into Stellantis' electrification strategy through the forthcoming production iteration of the Dodge Charger.

The Winnipeg Sun provided a glimpse of Stellantis promises with this futuristic EV concept.Chrysler has committed to delivering a vehicle within this category by 2025, with plans for an all-electric lineup by 2028. However, despite the promising appearance of the Airflow concept unveiled a few years ago, it seems to have been abandoned, purportedly overshadowed by pursuits of the next groundbreaking innovation. Yet, with the pledge of two additional teaser shots before the upcoming Tuesday, the unfolding developments remain to be seen.

The initial teaser released by the automaker presents an extreme close-up of a taillight lens, providing minimal insight into the appearance of Chrysler's futuristic EV. However, one thing is evident: it differs from the lamp featured on the Airflow prototype.

Meanwhile, a report from Autoblog, added details to feed car enthusiasts' curiosity about this futuristic EV. Chrysler remained tight-lipped about the teaser, which depicts the silhouette of a vehicle boasting proportions reminiscent of a flying saucer. The rounded shape is adorned with LEDs, including those on what appears to be the front end, showcasing a revised iteration of the Chrysler logo. While it's challenging to discern the exact identity of the vehicle, speculation suggests it could be a revamped rendition of the Airflow concept introduced in 2022. The report also teased everyone by using the word UFO in relation to this futuristic EV.
