Tesla Kicks Off Cybertruck Deliveries in Mexico but Only for the Foundation Series Orders

By

Tesla has started its deliveries in Mexico for its Foundation Series Cybertrucks.

Electrek reported Tuesday that aside from Mexico, the automaker will follow up on its deliveries in Canada next month. The deliveries initially started in November 2023, but it was still confined to the U.S.

EconoTimes also shared that international markets approve of the Cybertrucks due to their convenience in moving at a slower pace. However, it noted that Tesla is currently prioritizing customers in the United States.

The Foundation Series Cybertrucks is expected to expand in the global markets, as Mexico and Canada are among Tesla's target markets for the vehicles. On the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Tesla Cybertruck Program Manager Siddhant Awasthi shared that deliveries are expected in late October.

Meanwhile, Tesla has hinted at its expansion plans in the Philippines, when the automaker's Careers website caught the attention of car enthusiasts. The job offers on the site included roles related to services and tech, as well as managerial positions.

The listings are based in Taguig, Manila, where the high-end district Bonifacio Global City (BGC) is located.
