Winter storms have caused ice roadways in several regions of the United States over the past week, which can be dangerous. Driving has been challenging and often requires great consideration for safety, than usual days. Genesis fully embraces this concept, as evidenced by the X Snow Speedium, a winter adaptation of its sleek 2022 concept model.

According to Car and Driver, the Genesis X Snow Speedium concept showcases a white exterior finish along with a rooftop rack adorned with slim LED lights and equipped with a pair of skis. There are rumors that the X concept may go into production as a coupe or convertible.

The concept, it has been reported, comprises a special ski rack that was created in collaboration with the Swiss bespoke ski maker Anavon Ski AG. The roof rack, according to Genesis, is specifically made to enable "unparalleled winter adventures." The LED line lamps, which are reminiscent of Genesis' distinctive Crest Grille, are a nod to the Speedium Coupe.

The Genesis X Snow Speedium concept, according to the brand, embodies an "EV face" that symbolizes Genesis' transition toward a fully electric automobile brand. As Electrek stated, the Genesis X Snow edition boasts an elegant white hue, setting it apart from the Speedium's original emerald green color scheme.

While specific information remains undisclosed, it's anticipated that this new iteration will incorporate Genesis's "Beauty of White Space interior," drawing inspiration from the minimalist principles of Korean architecture.

Reports stated that Genesis X Snow Speedium underwent more than just a color alteration. Notably, the front bumper features enhanced lower side air intakes that now incorporate LED fog lights, improving visibility in snowy conditions. Additionally, the vehicle sports a new set of more understated wheels, presumably fitted with winter tires.

Get to Know More About Genesis

Hyundai unveiled its luxury brand, Genesis, in 2015. The concept aims to directly compete with market leaders like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Lexus. The little G70 is a remarkable sports sedan that is well-known for its precise handling and good pricing.

Based on its well-received formula, Genesis has extended its model line to include popular SUVs like the GV70 and GV80. To further broaden their inventory, they also want to launch the GV60, an all-electric crossover, shortly.

As per AutoTribute, Genesis Motors is a relatively new entrant in the luxury automobile industry, but it has rapidly gained recognition for producing fashionable vehicles that deliver similar features and performance to well-established brands like BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Lexus, all while being more affordable.

Genesis originated from a flagship Hyundai sedan launched in 2007 (in Korea) and 2008 (in North America), requiring a $500 million investment over three years. Initially, it served as a test for Hyundai's luxury vehicle potential.

The G90 represented Genesis' firs car and its top-of-the-line sedan.
