Car enthusiasts are about to experience Porsche's upcoming release, as all eyes are on the automaker's brand new Macan EV.
Electrek shared Thursday that Porsche's Macan EV will reach dealers in the United States on Sept. 30. The vehicle will have an EPA-certified range of 308 miles, while the "Turbo" variant can run 288 miles.
Porsche disclosed to Electrek that the ships containing the Macan EVs are on the way and are expected to arrive this September. However, the company and dealers are discussing getting the Macan's availability on the 30th.
The outlet also expected a 300-mile range for the Macan, adding that according to Porsche, the range would be "10-15% higher" in actual performance.

As an electric vehicle, the Macan can run 270kW on a single charge. Porsche said the vehicle can attain a charge of 10-80% under 21 minutes.
In related news, the company has agreed to provide financial backing for battery company Varta's restructuring. Varta is reportedly receiving a capital of 60 million euros ($66,508,800) as part of the deal.
