Bentley has debuted the limited Apex Edition, which is based on the Bentayga S model. There will only be 20 of these special edition vehicles-the Continental GT and GTC Le Mans-available for purchase.

Bentley to Produce the Limited Edition Bentayga Apex

The magnificent Mulliner-built Bentayga Apex Edition, which has an unrivaled degree of elegance and performance, will be given to twenty lucky Bentley enthusiasts. Every Bentayga Apex variant is powered by a strong 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine that produces an incredible 542 horsepower.

As noted by Jalopnik, Bentley describes this model as its "most dynamic Bentayga ever." While featuring a bespoke bodykit, the standout feature lies in the substantial reduction of unsprung weight, facilitated by the use of 22-inch carbon fiber wheels and carbon ceramic brakes.

According to CarBuzz, the Bentayga Apex Edition, on the other hand, has 22-inch custom Mulliner carbon wheels made just for the Bentayga model, demonstrating how carefully it is constructed to match its high-performance capabilities. This unique setup helps to significantly reduce unsprung mass.

Bentley asserts that the Apex Edition exhibits heightened agility and enhanced braking performance, resulting in reduced tire wear attributable to the implementation of lighter wheels.

Carbon Ceramic Brakes and More

As noted by CarBuzz, the Bentayga Apex Edition incorporates advanced Carbon-Silicon-Carbide (CSiC) brake discs, surpassing the standard iron disc brakes by a weight reduction exceeding 44 lbs. Engineered to endure temperatures up to 1,832 degrees Fahrenheit, these high-performance brakes ensure unparalleled stopping power and reliability.

Transitioning to its exterior design, the Bentayga Apex Edition showcases a range of aerodynamically optimized elements, including sleeker front and rear spoilers, side mirror caps, and sills, all adorned with a sophisticated satin carbon fiber finish. Additionally, distinguished carbon fiber Apex Edition badges adorn the D-pillar, further accentuating the model's exclusive identity and exceptional craftsmanship.

CarScoops has also indicated that Bentley plans to introduce six distinct exterior design themes for the Bentayga Apex Edition, each characterized by a striking full-length racing stripe extending from the base of the hood to the rear of the roof.

Notably, owners of the Continental GT and GTC Le Mans Edition have the option to synchronize their Apex Edition with a complementary design scheme. One such example features a Verdant green exterior complemented by a Moonbeam racing stripe, accompanied by a lavish Beluga interior accentuated with Hotspur detailing.

The crossover's availability of carbon fiber components, including as mirror caps, spoilers, and D-pillar badges, highlight its dedication to lightweight design and fine craftsmanship. Inside the cabin, sophisticated purchasers are greeted with carbon fiber inside trim, seats with elaborate embroidery, and exclusive Apex Edition sill plates, which elevate the level of luxury to previously unheard-of levels of elegance and refinement.

As per Car and Driver, the Bentayga Apex Edition draws power from Bentley's formidable 542-horsepower twin-turbocharged V-8 engine. Notably, the standard Bentayga S, albeit slightly heavier, boasts an impressive acceleration time of just 3.5 seconds to reach 60 mph. Given that the Apex Edition achieves only a modest 1.8 percent reduction in curb weight compared to the Bentayga S, it's reasonable to anticipate minimal improvement in acceleration performance for this limited-edition variant.

Pricing

Bentley remained tight-lipped regarding pricing details, but Car and Driver anticipates that the special edition will command a significantly higher price point compared to the V-8 Bentayga S's starting price of $243,025.
